About us
Forsell Systems is a Swedish company with nearly 50 years of custom machine building behind it.
We develop and sell machines and systems for prefabricated house production, from carts pulled by hand to fully automatic assembly lines. The products cover different parts of the work in a house factory: moving modules, handling elements, storage, access and finishing.
Our history
Arne Forsell founded Bergsbyns Mekaniska Verkstad outside Skellefteå in northern Sweden in 1977, building machines that could not be bought anywhere else.
His son Jörgen grew up in the workshop and built his own solutions early on. The company was later renamed Forsell Maskin, and Jörgen took over from his father. Today Jörgen runs the company with his son Linus. More than 250 machine builds have been delivered since 1977.
Our focus
Over the past decade the focus has been on house factories, and the machines and systems built for them have become a product line of its own. Forsell Systems was founded as a spin-off from Forsell Maskin to develop and sell these products.
Factories using our machines and systems include Lindbäcks, BoKlok and Podcomp in Sweden, Volumetric Building Companies in California, United States, and Eastcut in Nova Scotia, Canada.
