The company

Forsell Systems AB is a product company built on nearly 50 years of custom machine engineering.

Since 1977, Forsell Maskin AB in Skellefteå, northern Sweden, has built machines that cannot be bought anywhere else. Every project has been unique, every solution drawn from scratch. Forsell Systems AB takes the machines that have proven themselves in timber prefabrication and turns them into products, built repeatedly, for more customers.

We have engineered machines for house factories for more than a decade, and we know the production line from wall elements to complete modules.

Father and son

Arne Forsell founded the company in 1977 in northern Sweden, just outside Skellefteå, originally under the name Bergsbyns Mekaniska Verkstad. His son Jörgen grew up in the workshop, started building his own solutions from a young age, and eventually took the lead. Today the company is run together with his son Linus Forsell, who is responsible for people, materials, and turning designs into real machines. We have learned the trade by doing, from welding and machining to delivering complete production systems.

Over the years, the company has built machinery for everything from sports equipment manufacturing to hydraulic presses and mining equipment. That breadth has taught us one thing: a good machine is one that actually works in real production, every shift, year after year.

Built to last

Our machines are built to last. It is not uncommon for a Forsell machine to remain in a house factory for 20 years. When what a customer produces changes, we adapt the machine instead of replacing it. The most sustainable approach is to build it right from the start, so the machine reaches its full potential.

Building the machine is only part of the job. Every delivery today requires electrical schematics, manuals, documentation, and CE marking. Getting all of that together and delivering on time is something our customers can count on.
