Skate System

A manual, low-cost system for moving house modules forward. Modules move along a floor-mounted rail system on trolleys, pushed manually for a simple operation. Suitable for production where a simple, cost-effective solution is wanted.

Features

Low-cost and reliable
House modules roll on floor-mounted rails with minimal maintenance, giving you an assembly line without a large investment.
Manual or electric operation
The modules are moved forward by hand or with an electric tug. The tug is purchased separately.
Easy module lifting
The module rests on two floor beams, so it can be lifted straight off the trolleys for transfer or loading.
Configured for your production
The rails are tailored to your factory layout, and can be built with 90-degree turns.

In Production at Eastcut, Nova Scotia

Eastcut is a Canadian company in industrialized house construction, a sister company of DORA Construction in the Macklan Group, manufacturing timber housing modules. In 2022 we delivered Skate System to their factory in Trenton.
